Planning your dream wedding involves orchestrating a beautiful symphony of moments, and capturing them perfectly requires thoughtful timing. Our Wedding Photography Timeline Checklist is not just a guide; it’s a roadmap to ensure that every moment of your special day is immortalized with precision and artistry. 1. Pre-Ceremony [2 Hours]

Detail Shots: [20 minutes]

Set the stage for your wedding day with 20 minutes dedicated to capturing exquisite details—your dress, shoes, rings, and other cherished items. These detail shots add a touch of elegance and narrative to your wedding story, and they’re also a perfect opportunity to capture unique elements in your wedding.

Getting Ready Shots: [45 minutes]

The next 45 minutes are reserved for our skilled photographers and cinematographers to capture candid and intimate moments as you prepare for the day. These authentic shots convey the emotions and excitement leading up to the ceremony. These candid wedding moments will add a unique touch to your wedding film and Photos.

Instructions for Brides

During the getting ready session, our photographers and Cinematographers will start taking shots of you when your makeup and hair are finished. it usually takes 20-30 minutes and after that, we take shots of you, Mom & Dad Putting the dupatta/chunni on. When the shots are done makeup artist can pin the chunni/dupatta and we will take some more shots of your final look.

Note: communicate with your makeup artist to make sure he/she can wait when we take your shots without a chunni/dupatta.

Instructions for Groom

It is recommended to keep all your accessories handy in one place so when the photographer & cinematographer come they can take details shots and in the meantime, you can prepare for turban tying. you can wear your kurta and pajama during turban tying after that our team will guide you through the process. It will take around 45 minutes for the groom getting ready session and after that, we proceed to other ceremonies that need to be completed by the family and finish by taking family shots before leaving.

Family Portraits: [30 minutes]

Transition seamlessly into formal family portraits, investing 30 minutes to capture these cherished moments. With a well-prepared list, capturing up to 20 people typically takes around 30 minutes. To save time you can assign a person to help line everyone in their respective family groups for the formal family portraits.

Note:   Family photography can take more time depending on the number of guests present at home so adjust your timeline accordingly

2. Ceremony [3 Hours]

Arrival Photos: [30 minutes]

The Baraat is one of the most important parts of the wedding day. it is the time when barrat arrives at the wedding venue ( Usually Gurudwara Sahib in Sikh Weddings )  both families meet each other first time on the wedding day and the Rasam of Milni is performed. Allocate 20-30 minutes for us to capture the excitement of your guests’ arrival, the venue, and special decor details. These images set the tone for your ceremony and provide a visual narrative of the beginning of your wedding story.

Ceremony Shots: [1 hour]

Our experienced team knows the essential shots required during the ceremony. For example, a Sikh wedding ceremony usually takes about 45 minutes after the groom’s entrance. Allocate 1 hour to ensure every significant moment is beautifully captured. Our team is always around shooting and will help you with the Entrances.

3. Post-Ceremony

Family Portraits/ Shagan Ceremony: [45 minutes]

Immediately following the ceremony, it is time for the photography after the ceremony. Set aside 45 minutes for formal family portraits or Shagan for a gathering of around 150-200 people. This post-ceremony family portrait session ensures that all close family members and guests are captured in the glow of the recent celebration.

 4. Park Shoot [1-2 Hours]

Couple’s Portraits: [1 hour minimum]

Savor a private session capturing your love in beautiful settings. A minimum of 1 hour is dedicated to ensuring we encapsulate the essence of your connection. We generally decide the park shoot location according to the venue so it is convenient for the couple during their long day, but it is totally the couple’s choice. they can choose Romantic couple portraits in the Clairville conservation Area or at the village of Kleinburg.

 Park Session:

Choose a location with ample open space and greenery to make your shots truly majestic. The lush backdrop enhances the visual appeal of your images and provides a picturesque setting.

5. Special Requests

Special Requests:

Share any specific shots or locations that hold special meaning for you. We’re dedicated to capturing your unique vision. Every couple has a vision for their special day and we work with them to bring it to reality. some couples choose romantic park photo sessions, some choose casual ones. our team is always with you and recommends whatever suits your personality.

6. Doli & Paniwar [2 Hours]

Doli Games: [1 hour]

After the ceremony, engage in delicate tasks to prepare for the Doli ceremony while we whisk you away for a park shoot. This ensures everyone is ready when the couple returns. It is recommended to instruct the family to prepare the doli games and ceremonies while the couple is doing the Park Shoot. The groom’s family can wait near the bride’s house so the groom can join them and proceed to the doli ceremony.

Doli:

The Doli ceremony takes an average of 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the number of guests. Factor in travel times between the venue, park, and the bride’s house.

Paniwar:

This ceremony takes an average of 30 minutes, including games. Capture the essence of this cultural tradition with a mix of candid and posed shots.
